Start by navigating to the EAS Console Application Log in with credentials that have administrative rights. (or at least rights to create databases) Right Click the Application where the Database will reside and select Create database... Enter a name for the Database. Don't worry about the other options yet, just click OK Congratulations, you have created an Essbase Database.
